Birmingham City Council: Needs Assessment

Working with Nigel Rogers and Mark Goldup, Chris O’Leary has produced a model to estimate need for housing related support in Birmingham over the next ten years. The model uses demographic data, local commissioning and needs strategies and other information to produce number of units of supported housing and floating support needed, and an estimate of the number of contract floating support hours required. The model is part of Birmingham’s work to review and update its five year Supporting People strategy.
